ATTENTION GRADS 

Take a look at the scholarship bulletin board outside of the 

Guidance Office or on the Guidance site of the school 

 portal. Several new scholarships have been added.  See 

 Mrs. Bon- Pickering for an application for the 

 following scholarships: 


 Catholic  Women’s League of Most Precious Blood 

 and 

 Our Lady of the  Atonement Parishes as well as the Siro 

 Martinello Bursary. 
Several more applications are available to download.  

Please don't forget that the in school awards package is

 due April 26th.  It’s not too late to request the application.  

 Come into the Guidance office for details.


 AFRICAN DIASPORA YOUTH CONFERENCE 
From Mr Wilson and the African Diaspora Youth Conference. 

 Those students who have registered for the conference but 

 have not paid, please see Mr Wilson immediately regarding 

 payment.  Failure to do so will result in your name being 

 removed from the conference list and will void your 

 entrance scholarship.


MODEL UN DEBATE


Attention All Members of the Model UN Debate Team: There 

 is a meeting today after school in room 155 regarding the 

 University of Windsor Debates. All members are asked to 

 attend.


GSA CONFERENCE


Anyone wishing to attend the GSA We Shine Conference on 

 Friday, permission forms are due today! Please hand them 

 in to Campus Ministry by 3pm today.


 SENIOR GIRLS' SOCCER


Please dismiss members of the Senior Girls Soccer team 

 at 2:35 today for their game at the 

University of Windsor against Holy Names. 


BOYS BASEBALL 
A friendly reminder that there is a boys baseball practice 

today after school at 3:00pm. We will decide whether we are 

inside our outside then.  We have the gym booked, so even 

if the weather is bad, practice is still a go no matter what.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
