Monday's Announcements

A special Congratulations to Larissa Dushime for bringing three powerful recitations of French poems to the stage at the Poetry in Voice Nationals in Toronto. Larissa was one of twenty four students in all of Canada, six in French, to be selected from over 10,000 entrants to qualify for the finals. Larissa recited with maturity and poise, even receiving recognition from Louise Dupre, the poet of one of her chosen poems, for successfully interpreting her poem. If you missed her performance, the French and Bilingual qualifiers can be viewed online at the Poetry in Voice website. Congratulations Larissa for representing our school so admirably at this prestigious literary event!
