MONDAY, APRIL 25 '22 ANNOUNCEMENTS

JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER There will be a Junior Girls Soccer Practice today after school. Please meet in front of the Phys. Ed. Office and be sure to have your indoor and outdoor shoes ready- practice location will depend on the weather. Please make sure that you are present and on time. See you there! BADMINTON Our Junior Men's Team competed at the City Championships on Friday. Marcus Lam won the bronze medal at that event! Over the weekend, the team competed at WECSSAA in Leamington, where Marcus placed 4th in the Men's Singles division, and Allen Trifan & Brooke Lessard-Marshall won a Silver Medal. Both teams will compete at SWOSSAA next week! Congratulations and good luck! YOUTH TROOP There will be a meeting right after school in room 256 for all Youth Troop members.  SHOW ME YOUR LUNCH CONTEST All week long we will be running the show me your lunch contest in the atrium.  A great habit you can adopt to help the environment is to only pack reusable containers in your lunch, and try to reduce your waste where you can. Plastic sandwich bags and wrappers just add to the world's ongoing plastic waste problem.   If you can show us that the majority of your packed lunch is tupperware and other reusable containers, we will give you a prize! See you in the atrium -- and show us your lunch.   DRAMA CLUB Has anyone ever told you that you are over-dramatic? Do you enjoy playing games? Acting? Are you interested in backstage endeavors such as lights, sounds, props, makeup etc? Then Drama Club is for you!  The drama club is having our first meeting tomorrow at lunch in the Drama room where we will talk about what time is best to meet moving forward and your hopes and dreams for what we can accomplish during the rest of this semester and for next year as well.  You can join us on the Drama Club Google Classroom by using the join code audhlgo but the meeting this Thursday will be in person.   DAFFODIL PINS FUNDRAISER The Youth Troop group will be selling daffodil pins for 1 dollar in the atrium at lunchtime today! Please pop by and purchase a pin to help us raise money for cancer research! YOUTH TROOP This is a reminder that there will be a virtual meeting at 4:30 today, for all members of the youth troop group.   YEARBOOK SALES After much anticipation, we are pleased to announce that we are bringing back yearbooks!  The cost of the 2021/2022 hard cover, full colour yearbook will be $30.00. Staff and students may place their order using Cash Online.  Yearbook sales are due May 4th, 2022. FRIDAY, APR 1ST '22 ANNOUNCEMENTS

  JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Last night, the Junior Girls' Volleyball team faced off against the reigning champs - Villanova.  The lasers lost the first two sets, but had a big win in the third set despite being down 6 players!  The lasers lost the fourth set, but they put up a great fight!  Congratulations to the Junior Girls' Volleyball team for their commitment and dedication this season! SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL The Sr. Boys dropped a hard fought game last night against Lajeunesse 58-54. The team battled back from a 12 point deficit and had opportunities late in the game but came up just short. Michael Ramos led the way with 22 points. Abbas Komeiha and Shadrack Etiene set the tone defensively while Denin Lual and Buom Martin held a block party under the hoop. The boys finish their regular season tonight at Villanova @ 4:00PM.
