VALADICTORIAN NOMINATIONS

Attention graduating grade 12's: valedictorian nominations are due by Tuesday April 3. You must fill in the Google form through the graduation website. Please see Ms. Flynn if you have any questions.
AFRICAN DIASPORA YOUTH CONFERENCE

Those of you who are wishing to attend the African Diaspora Youth Conference can be eligible for the $1000 University of Windsor entrance scholarship. Visit Mr. Wilson in room 159 for registration and payment which is now due. Failure to register by April 1st may hinder your ability to attend the conference. 

SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB 

 The Social Justice Club will meet today, at lunch, in Room 257.

The Social Justice Club is collecting money for the Hope of St. Joseph Shelter in the Republic of Congo, Africa. Today will be the last day to give donations. Please consider donating to this great cause during period 3. 100% of the proceeds go to the Shelter.

FANDOM CLUB

A reminder to fandom club about their meeting today at lunch in room 217.

ATTENTION SINGERS 

 This is a reminder of the MANDATORY practice tonight for the Easter Mass next week. Practice is in room 256 right after school. 

JR BOYS HOCKEY
The tryout for the junior boys team will be held after the Easter weekend, Tuesday April 3rd and Thursday April 5th at the WFCU arena at 3:30. There will be a $10 fee for each try out and the final roster will be posted on Friday April 6. There will be one practice a $10 fee on Tuesday April 10 prior to the tournament on April 11-12. Price for the tournament will be $40. All money is to be paid in CASH.

BOYS BASEBALL

The boys baseball practice for today has been CANCELLED due to bad weather.  Practices will resume next week, TUESDAY after school, OUTSIDE if weather permits, at 3:00 pm.  If you have your money today, please see Miss McGuire in room 206 during per. 3 or 4.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
