Please come to room 168 (auto shop) if you are a current team member or you might be interested in joining our robotics team. Attention Grade 10 and 11 Students: The Military Cooperative Education program will be available again next school year!  This is a unique placement where you can earn 4 high school credits and a wage. This opportunity introduces you to the diverse career opportunities in the Canadian Armed Forces and provides a challenging and rewarding experience! Limited seats are available and the time line for applying is now. Recruiters will be at the school on  Monday April 3rd  during period 2 to deliver their message and give you more details. WE PROJECT Attention All Student:  Ms. Touma has a meeting regarding Literacy at lunch today so the meeting for the WE Project/St. Vincent DePaul YouthSociety has been moved to  Wednesday March 29, 2017  at lunch in room 155.  Please see Ms. Touma in room 155 with any questions or concerns. GRADUATING STUDENTS Could all Grade 12's who have submitted a nomination form to be considered for valedictorian, or any who are interested in still doing so, please meet in Room 254 at the beginning of lunch  on Friday . MATH TUTORING This message is for all students currently taking any Math courses this semester. Mr. Nohra is running a Math Homework Help Program, after school EVERY Wednesday, in Room 218. If you find yourself struggling with a concept, or simply need some extra math review, be sure to drop by! LITERACY TEST The Grade 10 Literacy Test is a week from today on  Thursday, March 30th .   Remember that you can access important resources to help you prepare on the Laser Literacy website on the student portal.   There will also be two after school preparation sessions  on Monday  and  Tuesday next week  from  3:00-4:00  in the LCC.   No need to sign up.  Just drop in and get some last minute tips and practice.   Please see Mrs. Kop

Wednesday's Announcements

Attention All Students There is a meeting for the Model UN Debate Team today after school in room 155.  All information and booklets for countries and committees have come in.  In order to finalize student lists with their choice of country and committees, I need everyone to come in and finalize the country they will represent and which committee they want to be a representative on.  You can also pick up your information booklets for your countries and committees. This information needs to be sent into the University of Windsor as soon as possible.  This is a must attend meeting for the Model UN Debate Team. See Ms. Touma in room 155 with any questions or concerns. EARTH HOUR ECO ASSEMBLY Welcome back Lasers a busy week this week with a grand finale period 2  this friday  in the cafeteria. To celebrate and inform you about  March 25th  EARTH HOUR, there will be a HALF period eco-assembly this friday March 24th for your environmental pleasure.
