SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 Gr 12's :  Check the Scholarship board outside of Guidance.  

 Several new scholarships have been posted recently with March and April deadlines.  

 Don't miss out on these opportunities to help finance your post secondary plans.

 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are required on Sunday, April 23rd to help set up and clean up for the 4th Annual Tea Pawty supporting TLC Animal Aid.

U OF W SPRING OPEN HOUSE

Gr 11 and Gr 12 students are encourage to attend the Spring Open House at the University of Windsor this Saturday, March 4 from 10:00 - 4:00.  

Learn about programs, scholarships and see the campus first-hand.

BLOOD DRIVE

It is not too late to sign up to donate blood! 

Sign up sheets will be outside of the Guidance office. 

Please sign up at lunch today if you are 17 years old or older. 

Our Blood Drive will be held in our gym on Friday. 

Please sign up & help save a life. Please encourage your family members and friends to donate at our blood drive too!

TALENT SHOW

Auditions for the talent show are TODAY AFTER SCHOOL.  

Please wait in the cafeteria for your turn.
You must bring a copy of any and all song lyrics.  If you are singing, make sure your lyrics are MEMORIZED.  The more prepared you are, the better your chances are of making it.
Talent show auditions will start promptly at 3:00pm today in the music room.

LASER PUCK

This is another important annoucement for the girls hockey team: 

Jerseys must be returned no later than FRIDAY of this week! 

Please return them to Room 254. 

Again, jerseys must be returned by the end of this week. 


DEBATE TEAM

There will be a Debate team practice today after school.  

All students attending Friday's competition at the University of Windsor are expected to attend.  

MODEL U.N.

The meeting for the Model UN Debate Team is canceled for today. 

Many students have asked to postpone it until next week so they can prepare for the Parliamentary Debates this Friday at the University of Windsor. 

Therefore we will meet next Wednesday March 8, 2017, after school in room 155.

INDOOR SOCCER

Copa Di Rayo Laser Quarter Finals begin Thursday, March 2nd with Longballs FC taking-on Underdogs AC. 

The second quarter final match will see action between Major Lasers FC versus No Money FC on Monday, March 6.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
