Monday's Announcements

Attention Grade 10 and 11 Students:


The Military Cooperative Education program will be available again next school year!  This is a unique placement where you can earn 4 high school credits and a wage. This opportunity introduces you to the diverse career opportunities in the Canadian Armed Forces and provides a challenging and rewarding experience! Limited seats are available and the time line for applying is now. Recruiters will be at the school on Monday April 3rd during period 2 to deliver their message and give you more details. Please sign up in the guidance office to attend this presentation.

Dance Team 

Over the past weekend, the Laser Dance Team competed at the Ontario Secondary School Dance Fest competition at St. Clair Center for the Arts against 19 schools from throughout Ontario. Our team entered 9 dance pieces from different styles and levels of dance and received two 1st place awards, two 2nd place awards, three 3rd place awards, and a special award for makeup design. 

Congratulations to all of the dancers involved!

MODEL UN

The following students must see Ms.Touma today at lunch in room 155 so they can finalize their places on the Model UN Debate Team: Charlie Alconaz, Tinnon Luong,and Nikodem Rybarczyk.

COFFE HOUSE / OPEN MIC

Attention All Students involved in the Coffee House/Open Mic plans, there is a meeting today at lunch in room 155. Please bring your lunch and join us as we regroup and make plans for a special event.

A heartfelt thank you to all who supported the Earth Hour weekend and those who helped support fridays silent auction - especially Mr Polewski, Ms Timmins and most of all Mme Tomaselli

AFRICAN DIASPORA

Important reminder to those wanting the $1000.00 scholarship for attending the African Diaspora Youth Scholarship.  

The deadline for registration is due this Thursday.  Please see Mr. Wilson for payment and details.  

JR BOYS HOCKEY

Jr. Boys Hockey Try-outs are today and Tuesday starting at 3:45 at the WFCU centre.

SKILLS COMPETITION

Congratulations to Devin Forget and Samantha Hunter for winning 2nd place at the Skill Competition at St Clair College this Saturday.  

Their win qualifies them to compete at the provincial level in the Ontario Skills Competition this May in Toronto. 

Congrats to Mr. McAiney, Devin & Sam on all their hard work and expertise!
