OECTA CONTEST WINNERS The OECTA Young Authors Contest celebrates the writing talents of students in poetry, short fiction, plays and nonfiction.  The English department is pleased to announce the winners of this year's writing contest.   In the junior category, congratulations to Clementine Guarini for placing first in the short story category and Emma Nicoletti for her first place finish in poetry.  The judges would like to recognize Maya Rice with an honourable mention for her short story and Kaeleigh Sinclair for her submission of a play. In the senior category, the winner of the short story category is Taylor McQueen.  Marta Haireek placed first for both poetry and nonfiction. Sukhdeep Chaggar placed first for his original play.
