BLOOD DRIVE COMMITEE Attention Blood Drive Committee:  A list of duties for those students who signed up to be part of the Blood Drive Committee is posted outside the Guidance Office.  Please look for your name and your responsibility.  Diva Boland and Anu Ayo-Oaniyan should report the Guidance office at lunch for donor sign up. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help in making this a great event. IMPORTANT!! All lasers please listen closely as this is a very important announcement regarding the rest of our Canadian 150 celebration! Tomorrow is NOT a full dress down. RED & WHITE tops with your uniform bottoms will be the dress code. Thursday all students will be expected to be in​ ​full uniform​ ​and Friday all students are welcome to dress down in red and white and/or Canadian spirit! Monday's Announcements

CROSS COUNTRY All Cross Country runners are asked to meet in Room 210 at the beginning of lunch today . It is imperative that you attend this meeting, as this will confirm your intent to participate in Thursday's Thrill on the Hill Meet.  If you have not returned your consent form, this is the time to do so, as you WILL NOT be permitted to compete without this form. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY The Optimist Club of Forest Glade will be presenting a movie night  Friday September 29th , featuring the movie Trolls. Volunteers are needed for this event. Set up will start at  5pm . Student volunteers will be collecting canned good donations, directing traffic, running the concession stand, setting up, cleaning up and collecting trash at the end of the night. TERRY FOX DAY This Friday, is the grand finale of our Canada 150 Birthday celebration  week as we hold the annual TERRY FOX WALK.

In the traditional St. Joe's spirit, the ENTIRE school will join in the fight against CANCER. CANADIAN FILM FESTIVAL Good Morning Canadian Hockey Fans! Wednesday, September 27 will be the chance for all you  diehard Maple Leaf supporters to have a day dedicated to you. Dress down in Canadian Hockey  themed attire and/or red and white clothing because this day will be our Canadian Film Festival.  No formal classes will be taken place. Instead, microwave that popcorn, relax with your friends  and be prepared for not one! But two different movies! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Are you still looking for volunteer hours or have an interest in a career with pets and animals? If so, the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is seeking a group of dedicated high school-age leaders to form this year's Youth Advisory Committee. Interested students will be required to submit an application form which can be obtained from Miss Cuderman in the Guidance office. SCHOOL NEWSPAPER All members of the news team are asked to meet in Room 210 at lunch today ( Tuesday ). This is an important meeting, so all should be in attendance! CROSS COUNTRY Attention Cross country runners--if you have not signed the WECSSA Code of Conduct yet, please come to Room 210 at the beginning of lunch today to do so.  Also, if you have not handed in your signed permission form, please bring it to Rm 210 at the beginning of lunch today.  This will save time at the beginning of practice. Thank you! TENNIS Just a quick reminder. If you signed up for TENNIS then  Tuesday  and  Thursday  are your lucky days.  We will have practices those days from  3:30 to 5 pm  at the Forest Glade courts in  preparation for our upcoming tournament.  Please see your tennis coaches if you can't make it. SCIENCE OLYMPIAD Science Olympiad meeting today at lunch in room 221. DANCE TEAM Attention all students who came out to the Dance Team meeting last week and all students who are still interested in joining: The meeting that was scheduled for  tomorrow  after school will be postponed until after our Canada 150 celebration. This means that choreographers have an extra two weeks to work on their dances. We will meet on  Wednesday, October 5th  after school to perform your pieces. Together as a community we will be gathering as a group to celebrate this milestone in our Nation.  This will not be any ordinary week for St. Joseph's. Starting September 25th each day will be presented with its own theme and super fun activities that go along with it to fill your day with excitement and give you a chance to show off your laser spirit.  Students and teachers!
