LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS LUNCHTIME SCHOLARSHIP WORKSHOPS Are you in grade 12 or 11 and want to  know more about how to access and apply for available scholarships, bursaries and awards to help fund your post-secondary experience? Due to high demand, the workshop from last week will be available again on Wednesday October 19th.  The workshop will be in the Conference room on the first floor. It is located across the hallway from CORE services. Please note that the Monday October 17th workshop has been cancelled. Make sure to mark your calendars and see you there! AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY CLUB All students who are writing the OSSLT on November 22nd have been invited to the After School Literacy Sessions Google Classroom. Please make sure to accept the invitation and come out to the after school sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-4pm in Room 154. Our first session is tomorrow! LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS SEMI-FORMAL Our annual winter semi-formal is finally coming back this year!! There is a survey posted on your grade level google classroom with a few questions to answer. If you are interested in attending semi-formal, please fill out the form by TOMORROW. Thanks Lasers for your cooperation as we bring back this awesome event! DANCE TEAM ATTENTION Choreographers IF you are interested in choreographing for this year’s dance team, AUDITIONS are TODAY during lunch or after school. LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS MASTER DANCE WORKSHOP ATTENTION LASERS! DO you want to DANCE? Do you want to have fun? Do you want to meet new people? Then come to our first MASTER DANCE WORKSHOP ON: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 12th From 3:15-4:15 pm For the cost of $4. The workshop will take place in the cafetorium and all St. Joe’s Students are welcome. This is the first of many Master Dance Workshops. All proceeds go to support our Dance Team! LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS THANKSGIVING CAN DRIVE The St. Vincent de Paul Society from Our Lady of the Atonement Parish has reached out and asked us for assistance in filling their shelves with nonperishable food. This week we are inviting all staff and students who are able to bring in donations of nonperishable food items. Donations will be collected from homeroom classes immediately after morning Prayer next week. Anyone who does not have a homeroom or is offsite period 1 may bring donations to the Chapel at any time.  We will be presenting the donations to Fr. Rob at our Thanksgiving Mass on Friday. NEW YORK SENIOR TRIP Have you ever dreamed of visiting New York City, one of the most exciting destinations in the world? Picture it, Times Square, known for its many Broadway theaters and electronic billboards. Take in a breathtaking 360-degree view of NYC from Top of the Rock Observation Deck.
