GIRLS SOCCER

Reminder today of the Junior and Senior girls soccer meeting in room 220 immediately at the start of lunch on Tuesday


TALENT SHOW

The talent show is this THURSDAY and FRIDAY.  

Teachers can go on the google community to make a class reservation.  

Talent show reservations can be made using the google form on the google community, teachers

PRAISE TEAM


Attention all members of the Praise Team

There is now a rehearsal at lunch today.  The rehearsal is in the music room.

There is no longer a rehearsal on Thursday this week.

MODEL U.N. DEBATE

There will be a meeting today after school in room 155 for those students who signed up for the Model UN Debate Team. 

Miss Touma needs to see all students who are interested so student lists can be finalized and sent to the University of Windsor.  

Questions and concerns can be directed to Ms. Touma in room 155.

OPEN MIC NIGHT

Attention All Students: Due to the lack of interest at this time for the Coffee House / Open Mic Night it has been canceled for Thursday March 9, 2017

I will meet with students after the March Break to look at this or another event that we can plan to offer as well as how to best use the award money from the University of Windsor.

OECTA

Your Lasers brought home first and second place for the second time this month in a public speaking contest.  Congratulations to Larissa Dushime for placing first and Marlene NKombo for her second place finish in the Legion Public Speaking Contest.  Good luck in the next round, Larissa!

In the OECTA Young Authors Writing Contest, two of your Lasers placed in the city-wide competition and have qualified for the provincial contest.  Congratulations to Clementine Guarini for placing first in junior short story and Joseph Papak for placing first in senior poem.  The judging panel would also like to recognize Anita Sehra for her second place finish for senior poem.

In our school contest, the judges would like to recognize Marlene NKombo, Savannah Jovanovski and Emma Nicoletti for their winning submissions.

STJ BLOOD
Tomorrow is the dress down day for anyone who donated or attempted to donate blood at last week's blood drive. Please check the list outside of the attendance office to be sure you are eligible to dress down. If you do not see your name but think you qualify for a dress down day, please see Mrs. Geiger, Mrs. Bon-Pickering or Mrs. Walls by the end of the day today. Awesome Job to all the Lasers who donated blood!

Prom Meeting
To all on prom committee there will be a meeting today at lunch in Mrs Spadotto's room 154!
