Wednesday's Announcements

Attention All Students
There is a meeting for the Model UN Debate Team today after school in room 155. 

All information and booklets for countries and committees have come in. 

In order to finalize student lists with their choice of country and committees, I need everyone to come in and finalize the country they will represent and which committee they want to be a representative on. 

You can also pick up your information booklets for your countries and committees.
This information needs to be sent into the University of Windsor as soon as possible. 

This is a must attend meeting for the Model UN Debate Team. See Ms. Touma in room 155 with any questions or concerns.

LITURGICAL DANCE

Liturgical dance meeting today at lunch in room 154

SAC 

Tonight's SAC meeting has been changed to lunch time to day. 

All SAC members are asked to attend the meeting today at lunch in Room 154.

STAFF DINING LOUNGE

The staff dining lounge room 160 will be open Thursday and Friday of this week. 

Follow the menu on our website and we will have our second end off the month luncheon March 30th.

JR BOYS SOCCER

Any boy wishing to play junior boys soccer, please print your name on the sheet outside of room 221.
There will be a short meeting at lunch on Wednesday in room 221
JR BOYS HOCKEY


Any grade 9 or 10 student, who is planning on trying out for the Junior Hockey team, please fill out the on-line “Junior Hockey Try-out Form” found at the bottom of the Student Portal page. All players must fill out this form in order to attend try-outs. 

      If you have any questions, please see Mr. McAiney in room 169.

Try-outs are next Monday and Tuesday starting at 3:45 at the WFCU centre. 

The schedule will be posted later today outside Mr. McAiney's and Mr. Soks room.
VALEDICTORIAN NOMINATIONS

To be considered for the role of valedictorian at this year's graduation ceremony, you must fill in the nomination form through the graduation icon on the Student portal. 

Nominations are to be completed and submitted online by Tuesday, April 4th, 2017. Review criteria and further information online.

ECO ASSEMBLY

Reminder to all staff and students that we are having a half period eco-assembly this Friday during period 2.

Game club is closed this week in preparation for this environmental event - look forward to some new eco data some entertainment and a silent auction.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
