Monday's Announcements

ATTENTION GRADS

Each year, St. Joe’s is proud to offer over 20 scholarships and bursaries to our graduating students donated by friends and sponsors of our school. A committee of staff members and parents will select the winners and announce the names at graduation.


You’re eligible for these awards if you:


  • are a graduating student who will be in college or university in September
  • have a pretty solid academic record and
  • have been involved in the life of the school and the community.
Come into the Guidance Office and follow the directions to request an application.


The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 26th.

ALSO

A reminder that prom is in 3 weeks. Any pictures that you would like to submit to the prom sideshow are due by April 20th. Send in pictures of any high school memories of you and your friends to either Taylor McQueen or Maria Buglisi ASAP!!!!!!!


GRADE 10 STUDENTS 

The OSSLT is tomorrowTuesday April 10th. The presentation from today's assembly has been posted to our school literacy website at laserliteracy.weebly.com

Remember that you can also prepare by watching tutorials on the long writing tasks, including how to write quotations for your news report on the website. There are even outlines for writing. 

Please remember to check the lists posted on the attendance office window for your test location. If you are in a Grade 10 class, but not writing the test, please see the list for your location.

JR GIRLS SOCCER 

Reminder that there is a tryout tonight for Jr. Girls Soccer at 4pm.  We will be meeting in the hallway outside of the weight room.

There will also be practices tomorrow and Wednesday from 3-4 pm.  Please bring both indoor and outdoor shoes; practice will be outdoors if weather permits.
