OECTA Young Authors Contest Winner Prizes

Congratulations once again to the school winners of the OECTA Young Authors writing contest. The following students are asked to see Ms. Koppeser sometime today to claim their prizes: Clementine Guarini, Emma Nicoletti, Maya Rice, Marta Haireek, Taylor McQueen and Sukhdeep Chaggar.

SENIOR BOYS' SOCCER

Our Senior Boys' Soccer team won their second match of the season with a 2 - 0 victory over CCH. Scoring goals were Bryce Osenda, and Mike Zivcic. Earning the cleansheet was Brandon Gaudreau. The boys' season continues Tuesday, as they travel to St. Anne's for a 4 pm kick-off.

JUNIOR BOYS' HOCKEY

The coaching staff would like to thank the team for their commitment in this weeks tournament. Our coaching staff had a good look at the prospects for next years team and we expect to have a competitive team for the 25 anniversary of the Catholic cup. We asked that those who owe moneys for practice to take care of this ASAP in order to finalize our end of the year dinner for both Senior and junior teams.

GRAD FEES

A reminder to all students Graduating this June that your Grad fee is now past due! If you are planning to attend Grad and have not paid your fee, please bring your money to Mrs. Walls in Campus Ministry or to the Main Office as soon as possible.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
