STUDENT SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY 

Freeds is now accepting resumes for summer student employment in our class act uniform department.


Interested students may submit resumes in person to Diane Hillman at Freeds of Windsor. Deadline for accepting resumes is May 15, 2018.

MILITARY CO OP PRESENTATION 

Attention Grade 10 and 11 Students:


The Military Cooperative Education program will be available next school year.  However you need to apply now.


This paid co-op program will offer you:
  • 4 Afternoon high school credits
  • $48.03 per afternoon
  • $5000 worth of equipment/clothing
  • A guaranteed job in Canadas Army Reserve after your placement including summer employment in 2019
Recruiters will be here Tuesday April 24.  Please sign up in the guidance office to attend this present

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 


Art in the Park is looking for student volunteers on Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3.

Hard copies of the applications are also found on the Guidance volunteer Board across from the Attendance office.

STRATFORD TRIP 

Attention all fans of theatre, travel, culture, foodie food, and fun!! If you are in Gr. 10, 11, or 12, you are welcome to join in the annual tradition of a Day in Stratford, home of the Biebs. This year, the trip is on THURSDAY, MAY 17th. There are still tickets left to see To Kill a Mockingbird.  Cost of the excursion is only $45.  We will leave at 8:30 am and return at 8:30 pm.  Stroll through the lovely town of Stratford with its offerings of quaint dining experiences, shops, and  riverfront parks perfect for picnics and selfies, as well as take in a world class play!! It doesn't get better than this!! Please see Miss McGuire in rm 206 or Miss Flynn in rm 212  or your current English teacher as soon as possible to pick up your forms and secure your spot!

All those SHSM Health and Wellness student who picked up forms from Miss Fogolin : Please return them  filled out and signed by Mon. Apr 23rd



BOYS BASEBALL 

THERE IS A MANDATORY BOYS BASEBALL TEAM MEETING with Coach Pickering TODAY AT THE START OF LUNCH IN THE HALLWAY BY THE PHYS ED OFFICE. Please be prompt!

ALSO 

The BOYS BASEBALL team will be playing their first games of the season this upcoming Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 23 & 24th. Earthquakes won't stop us, but diamond conditions might, so please listen to announcements that morning if any changes have to be made.  All players are reminded to bring their equipment to school Monday. It can be brought to Rm 206 before per. 1 starts if you need safe storage.  Please gather in the phys ed hallway after per. 1 lets out  before we leave for the diamond. Also, regarding this tournament, Connor Hay needs to see Miss McGuire ASAP TODAY.
