BEST BUDDIES
Reminder to all members of Best Buddies, we will be meeting in Room 110 at the beginning of lunch today for this month's event. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services, room 151.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Just a reminder that due dates for October scholarships are coming to an end and the November scholarships are quickly coming up! In particular, the TD Scholarship and the Harold Hewitt Scholarship will be due very soon.
Make sure to check out scholarships that may be offered by your employer, or your parent's employer, your sports league, or a club you belong to. Local chapters of national civic organizations, local credit unions or banks may also offer awards.

HALLOWEEN FOR HUNGER
Attention All Students: Our annual Halloween for Hunger continues today. We are asking that you donate $2.00 to receive a dress up pass to be able to wear your Halloween Costumes to school TOMORROW. Collections will be done in your period 1 classes and we will be collecting tomorrow as well.
All of the money collected will be divided up and given to the United Way as a student donation and to the St. Vincent De Paul Society to help feed the hungry in our community. Teachers, envelopes will be in your mailboxes and there are further instructions and explanations. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
UNITED WAY
Attention All Staff: United Way forms and donations are due TOMORROW. Please leave bring forms and donations to Miss Touma in Room 155. I will be taking all forms to the board office by Friday, November 2. After that, you will have to send in your forms to the board office on your own.
WE PROJECT/ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
Attention all students: There is a meeting for the WE Project/St. Vincent De Paul Society today at lunch in Room 155. Please bring your lunch and join us. New members are always welcome.
WINTER BALL
The Winter Ball committee meeting is today in Room 154. Tickets go on sale on Thursday November 1st to November 8th in the Laser Box.
Winter Ball contracts will be available in the atrium today at lunch and before school tomorrow. All students must have signed contracts in order to purchase tickets. Winter Ball ticket sales begin this Thursday, November 1. If you are planning to attend Winter Ball, please stop by the table in the atrium at lunch today or before school tomorrow to pick up your contracts.
DRAMA CLUBS
To any students who missed the Drama Club auditions on Monday - you will have another chance to audition this Thursday, November 1st after school in the drama room! Please see Mrs. D’Alimonte in Room 163 if you have any questions.
FROZEN YOGURT
Don't forget to stop by Room 111 at lunchtime to buy your frozen yogurt for only $2.50. Treat yourself to something special today.

BOYS HOCKEY
Tryouts will begin TODAY at 3:40 P.M., in the AM 800 rink at the WFCU and Thursday November 1st. Check to make sure that You and NOT YOUR MOM AND DAD have all your OHL approved equipment and a jersey in your hockey bag as you will be receiving a numbered pinny when you register with your $10 in cash for each try out with the coaches.
BUSINESS SHSM
There will be a brief meeting at lunch in Rm. 253 for any Business SHSM student interested in attending the Odette Exchange Stock Competition next week.
BADMINTON CLUB
Anyone interested in coming out and playing badminton, the gym will be open Thursday mornings at 7:15AM. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there. Just to clarify, these are not tryouts for the badminton team.
