Robotics Team 

 Anyone interested in joining the St. Joe's robotics team "Laser Bots" should attend an information meeting this Thursday at lunch in room #168 ( the auto shop).
Would you like to compete in an Olympic sport? Any boy or girl interested in wrestling this year, there will be a sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the phys-ed office.  No experience necessary.  Be prepared to get in the best shape of your life,  practice will start soon.
Volunteering Opportunity

The Society of St Vincent de Paul would like to invite the students of St Joseph’s Catholic High School to do their 40 hours of volunteer community involvement with us. This is a wonderful way to help the needy in our community. We have many tasks that need to be done such as the sorting and hanging of clothes.

Additional information can be found on the volunteer board next to the guidance office.

Our Social Justice Club will be meeting on Thursday, at lunch, in room 257. New members are always welcome. Please bring your lunch.
Drama

Attention all students auditioning for the drama club!  Tonight are the auditions!  Please meet in the drama room right after school.  Bring your Audition Information Sheets and your best performances!

Blood Drive
Our Blood Drive is this Friday!!! Anyone who is 17 years old or older and would like to donate, please sign up at lunch today, at the table outside of Guidance.

Boys volleyball
Congratulation to the sr and jr boys volleyball team! who bot played tremendous matches against the Villanova wildcats last night. both teams  had a 3-0 undefeated finish! A special shoutout goes out to each player as al of them came to win and impressed their coaches with their performance! A reminder that there will be a practice after school today. 

Copa Di Rayo
 Registration for the grandeur that is Copa Di Rayo Laser is now open. Any students interested in matching their soccer talents with the best that St. Joseph's has to offer is encouraged to participate in the  4 V 4 intramural futsol tournament by seeing Mr. Castagna at l

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
