UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR FALL OPEN HOUSE

The University of Windsor Fall Open House is
Saturday, November 4 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
At the Open House, students can:
Attend program presentations~Learn about our Student Awards and Financial Aid program
~
Speak with professors and current students
~
Learn about UWindsor support services
~
Visit the Information Fair
~
Tour the campus
Students can sign up at www.uwindsor.ca/openhouse.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 Santa Needs You!!!!!!!!
Help Make the Super Santa Run a success. Volunteers hours are available for students.
This event runs Saturday November 18 and there are volunteer shifts from 12 to 5pm and 4-7pm. for further information go to www.erca.org/active or check out the Guidance Volunteer Information board!!!!!!!!!!

BOY'S HOCKEY

Attention boys hockey players, there will be a practice at WFCU on Tuesday 3:40 and an exhibition game on Thursday, at 3:40. There will be a list on  MR Sok’s door, room 160 Wednesday morning for the boys who will be playing in Thursdays game.
This roster that will be posted is NOT I repeat is NOT the final roster. The final roster will be posted at a later date.

CURLING

REMINDER! All students who have signed up for Laser Curling ....
Mandatory practice today at Roseland Golf and Curling Club, 3:30 PM.

CHRISTMAS ARTS SHOWCASE

Any students interested in performing for the Christmas Arts Showcase are asked to sign-up on the drama room door (room 163).  You can sing, dance, play an instrument, recite poetry, do magic, or any other talent that you may have.  This will be the last talent show for this semester so don't miss out.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Attention all members of the Junior Football team, there will be a meeting after school in room 260. If there are any concerns, see Mr. Castagna or Mr. Fuerth.

FANDOMS CLUB

There will be a meeting of the united fandoms club in room 217 at lunch today. New members are always welcome.

 Winter Ball
To clear up any confusion Winter ball will be held on Friday November 17. Some contracts say February 17th but that is just a typo!! Contracts for Winter ball are still being handed out in the laser box at lunch and Ticket sales have started and are $40 each. Sales will continue until Tuesday, November 2nd.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
