BOYS BASKETBALL
Hey everyone, Mr. Gabrael made me say this. This Thursday at 7:00 pm The boy's basketball team will play St. Anne's for a chance to go to the AAA Finals! So we need you to come to cheer on our boys. You got this boys! Hooh!

 LITERACY CLUB
Attention all Grade 10 and 11 students! Today is the first day of our school’s Literacy Club! Today’s meeting will take place in Room 161 from 3pm-4pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve on your reading and writing skills which will help you in all of your courses and assist you with future post-secondary studies and job prospects. Again, our first meeting will take place today from 3pm-4pm in Room 161. Snacks will be provided! Looking forward to seeing you there! 

 PROM COMMITTEE
Due to family day being yesterday, there will be no prom committee meeting this week. We will meet again on Monday, February 24th.

 STUDENT COUNCIL
There will be no student council meeting today at lunch. Once again, there is no student council meeting at lunch.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
