Thursday's Announcements

COURSE SELECTIONS
Students, this is a reminder that your course selections for next year are due March 6.  Please take some time to complete this process over the weekend.

DUAL CREDIT
Attention dual credit students: Dual credit classes are cancelled today.

GRAD FEE PAYMENT
Attention graduating students: Your grad fee of $75 can be paid using school cash online or in cash through Mrs. Bachmeier in the main office. Remember that the fee is due March 2nd.

VALEDICTORIAN
Attention grade 12 graduates: Are you interested in being this year’s valedictorian? You can find information regarding nominations and the elections process on the Grad Google Classroom. Nominations are due no later than March 27th. 

EUROPE TRIP
Hello Europe Travelers, We have a very important meeting today at lunch in Room 201. All travellers must attend this meeting and please bring your passport.

POETRY IN VOICE
Would the following students, please see Dr. Brode in room 208 at lunch today?
Gia Krikellas, Hallelujah Aboona, Delicia Akimana and Christina Blanc. Once again these 4 students are asked to see Dr. Brode today in room 208.

COME AND SEE WEEKEND
St. Peter's Seminary is hosting a retreat for men ages 17-45 who are considering a call to the priesthood. The retreat will take place from February 28 (which is tomorrow) to March 1 and offers spiritual guidance and first-hand experience of the life of a priest. For more information or to register, please see Mr. Polewski or Mrs. Walls.

SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER
There will be a brief sign up meeting in the weight room at the beginning of lunch on Friday. Any junior age girls who wish to try out for the senior team are welcome and should attend.

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER
Senior Boys Soccer tryouts will continue at 3:05 PM tomorrow. This will be an indoor tryout, please meet in the gymnasium with the appropriate attire and on time to begin at 3:05 PM. If you have any concerns please see Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.

TRACK AND FIELD
Hey, lasers!  Do you run? Do you jump? Do you throw things? If you said yes to any of these that means you may have what it takes to be part of this year's Track and Field team! The team sign up sheet is up at the Phys. Ed office.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Mastromattei.

LASER NEWS
There will be a laser news meeting today at lunch in room 258. New members are always welcome!

LITERACY CLUB
Attention all grade 10 and 11 students: The Literacy Club will take place today after school from 3pm-4pm in Room 161. This is a great opportunity for you to build on and improve your reading and writing skills. Again, the Literacy Club will take place in Room 161 from 3pm-4pm. Looking forward to another great turnout! Snacks will be provided...make sure to bring a friend!
