SPRING CONCERT

Wow, the first Spring Concert is TOMORROW NIGHT.  Come out to the show TOMORROW NIGHT at 6pm. The second show is during per. 1 ONLY on Thursday May 24th.  Support the Concert Band, who won a SILVER PLUS at MusicFest, as well as various soloists and all of their HARD WORK preparing for this event.  Admission is free to students.  

SHSM HEALTH AND WELLNESS 

There are applications for summer school co-op for SHSM Health and Wellness students. If you are interested , come to the phys. ed office to get the application from Miss Fogolin. Forms must be completed and submitted by June 1st.
WE PROJECT 

Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the WE Project today at lunch in room 155. Please bring your lunch and join us.  New members are always welcome.


BOYS BASEBALL 

The boys baseball season has officially come to its end. Despite losing only two games the entire season, with each only by one run, and otherwise clobbering and mercying their opponents all the way through, they were unable to advance to WECSSA FINALS.  

We are all very proud of their showing this year and for rising above a longstanding drought. We were a true force  and we look forward to next year's reckoning! We wish a fond farewell to our graduating senior players who are onto new life adventures! Much gratitude to each of you for your contributions to our team and St. Joe's family, and the very best of luck is wished to Shane Tracey, Evan Ferguson, Aidan McGuire-Banks, and Owen Lalonde.  

Utmost appreciation also goes out to our team of experienced coaches:  Ron McGuire, Noah Pickering, Josh Nikosey, Kolton Schram and Brendan Renaud, who were exceptionally committed to our athletes and whose expertise and passion for the game led our charge.

All players must return their washed jerseys to Miss McGuire in rm 206 by end of this week please.  See all of you at the Athletic Banquet!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
