Tuesday's Announcements

SWAB EVENT

Wednesday May 16th from 11:00 - 2:00 representatives from the Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association will be here to swab students and register them for the One Match Bone Marrow registry.   Currently there are over 900 Canadians looking for a bone marrow transplant.  You might be the one they are looking for.  The process to register is a simple swab of your cheek.  A former St. Joseph's grad was registered at one of our previous events when she was in high school and was a bone marrow donor a few years ago. Just confirms that these events are making a difference in the lives of those in need of a bone marrow donation.

You must be 17 years old to register and be willing to donate to anyone in need.

STRATFORD TRIP

Attention all STRATFORD GOERS!  A reminder your trip is THIS Thursday, May 17th!  Please arrive by 8:10 sharp to allow for bus assignments and attendance. Meet in the atrium by the ping pong table. Buses will be boarded at the BACK of the school. We are leaving at 8:30 sharp. Latecomers will be left behind, and a refund will not be given.  You MUST go on the bus you are assigned to.  Dress appropriately for the nature of the day: casual dressy.  Be comfortable for walking around and sight seeing, but also classy for the theatre.  Bring spending money for lunch and souvenirs in Stratford and fast food at the stop along 401 on our way home.

ENVIRONMENT CLUB

Attention Students!

If you are interested in accumulating some community service hours and would like to to help improve the look of our school consider joining the Environmental Club.
There is a sign up sheet posted on Ms. Elliott's classroom door at Room 162. All interested students should sign up right away so we can plan our first meeting.

SR GIRLS SOCCER

The Senior girls soccer teams season came to an end yesterday in the WECSSAA quarterfinals to Holy Names.

After playing an excellent first half, the three time OFSAA attending Knights proved to be too much.

Coaches Mooney and Kittl would like to wish the best of luck to our EIGHT graduating seniors.
