 FREEDS IS NOW ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT IN OUR CLASS ACT UNIFORM DEPARTMENT

ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE AN ENROLLED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AND AVAILABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST BE FRIENDLY, RESPONSIBLE, ENTHUSIASTIC AND EAGER TO WORK HARD.

IF INTERESTED, STUDENTS MAY SUBMIT RESUMES IN PERSON TO DIANE HILLMAN AT FREEDS OF WINDSOR.

MULTICULTURAL DAY

Attention All Students: Friday May 11, 2018 is Multicultural Day. Any students wishing to do a booth area and share their culture are asked to see Ms.Touma, after school all week, in room 155 to get the forms to fill out to reserve a booth area. Please see Ms. Touma as soon as possible to reserve a booth area.  

WE PROJECT

Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the WE Project today at lunch in room 155. Please bring your lunch and join us. New members are always welcome.

CATHOLIC STUDIES TEACHERS

Attention All Catholic Studies/Religion Teachers: We have a meeting today after  school in room 155 at 3:00pm. Please be prompt so we can start. Snacks will be served.

FANDOMS CLUB

A reminder to fandom club and star wars fans that an important prep meeting is at lunch to day in room 217 for this Friday's event

BEST BUDDIES

Attention all members of Best Buddies, there will a luncheon event this Thursday, May 3 in room 111. All members must attend!

BOYS BASEBALL

THE BOYS BASEBALL team battled against Belle River in a close game but lost  in a tight final score of 3-2. Honourable mention to Shane Tracey who came in as relief pitcher and mixed things up  to keep the batters on their toes and who also had a slick slide  into home plate to score a run for us.  Next game is tomorrow WEDNESDAY, MAY 2nd against L'Essor  at our home diamond of McAuliffe Park.  PLAYERS MUST leave their period 4 classes, with or without an announcement, at 2:10 SHARP and be dressed and waiting at the phys ed door by 2:25 SHARP to check in with Miss McGuire for game attendance and to be dismissed to the diamond.  


TRACK TEAM

Attention all throwers,
practise will be at 3:45pm today. So join the runners first for warm ups and track practise. Then meet Mrs. Fetter at the javelin and shot put to throw!

 Any track team members going to sand which tomorrow must sign their name at the phys ed office board by lunch

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
