There will be a brief but mandatory meeting in room 202 during lunch on Tuesday, May 8th.

ATTENTION GRADUATES

Is the death of one or both of your parents the reason you cannot afford to attend College or University next year?  A $2000 bursary will be awarded to a student in need. Applications for the $2000 Byrne Bursary Foundation are available in the Guidance office to a deserving student or can be downloaded from the Guidance site on the student portal.
Several other opportunities are available.  Check the bulletin board outside of the Guidance 

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER

Your Senior Boys' Soccer team remained undefeated for the 2018 campaign causing a draw with the perenial power-house Holy Names by a score of 1-0. Scoring for the Lasers' was Alex Kosak; while great efforts were put-in by goal keeper Haiden Gelinas. The boys finish the regular season at St. Anne's on Tuesday.

JR BOYS SOCCER

There will be a Junior Boys Soccer meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 221.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
