Several scholarship applications available in the Guidance office.  Take a look at the Scholarship board outside of the Guidance office or the Guidance page of the School Portal for details.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 


The father/daughter day event is looking for 10-20 volunteers  Saturday June 3 from 12-4pm.
The event this year will be held at the Water's Edge.

BOOK FEST WINDSOR STUDENT WRITING CONTEST


Book Fest Windsor is inviting entries of poems or short stories related to the theme "The Power of Words" for a student writing contest. Submissions may be in English or French. Each student may submit up to three pieces. All award-winning works will be published on the Book Fest website and contest winners will be eligible to read their work at Book Fest Windsor along with cash and other prizes. The contest deadline is June 8, 2018. Please see the Literary Laser board or Mrs. Koppeser for more information.

INDIGENOUS YOUTH ART CONCERT

In partnership with Artists Against Racism, We Matter is inviting Indigenous youth across Canada to submit artworks depicting Hope, Culture and Strength in relation to a National Billboard campaign. The deadline to submit artwork is August 1st. To submit your artwork or for more information email info@wemattercampaign.org.

WE PROJECT 

The following students are reminded that they will be painting the banner at lunch today in room 155. Please bring your lunch and proceed to room 155 as soon as you are dismissed from your period 2 class.

SPRING CONCERT

The Spring Concert was an amazing success yesterday.  If you were able to make it, thank you for being such a sweet, respectful audience. Ms. Bisnaire and the concert band really appreciated your support.  


Ms. Bisnaire would like to thank the graduating Concert Band members, Maria Buglisi, Taylor McQueen, Bailey Chittle, Mason Hughes, Laura Diaz, Sabrina Sisco and Maddie Sanderson for their 4 years of dedication and excellence.  You will be missed.  


Thank you to the rest of the Concert Band for your hard work and dedication as well.  You played with passion and precision. Ms. Bisnaire couldn't be prouder.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB

Attention all members of the environmental club, There will be a meeting in the learning commons on Monday May 28 right after school! Please check with Ms Elliot in room 162 before hand if you cannot attend the meeting. 

BOYS BASEBALL

A friendly reminder that all boys baseball jerseys must be washed and returned to Miss McGuire by end of next week. If you do not return your jersey by the deadline, you will have to deal with the office and risk writing a delayed exam.  Please get these to Ms McGuire in Rm 206 asap.

ATHLETIC BANQUET 


Attention all student athletes:  The Athletics Awards Banquet is being held on Tuesday, June 12th in our cafetorium. All athletes and their families are invited, but tickets are limited. Come enjoy a Mr Soks meal and help us to recognize the excellence in our student athletes. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Phys ed office.
