JOURNÉE FRANCO-ONTARIENNE
In celebration of national franco-ontarien day, we have a short video of students and teachers in the french immersion program sharing reasons why they are proud of their franco-ontarien identity. As a reminder, make sure to come to visit the french immersion station in the atrium to claim candy by speaking "en français"!

NAVY TOUR BUS
On Wednesday, September 25 the Naval Armed Forces will be at our school with their Tour Bus. Representatives will be here to answer questions about a variety of programs and opportunities. Be sure to stop by during lunch to find out if they have anything for you!

Grads, the Ontario Universities' Fair is taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from September 27-29. REST STOP AMBASSADORS
Students, are you looking to gain more of your required volunteer hours? Rest stop ambassador positions are available for the upcoming Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour coming up on Saturday, September 28th. Different shifts are available. LORAN SCHOLARSHIP
Attention all 2020 graduates of St Joe`s. Every High School in Canada is allowed to nominate up to 3 students for this scholarship that is valued at $100, 000 over four years. This award is meant to support young Canadians who show a strength of character and a commitment to service in their communities. If you have an average of 85% or higher and you enjoy challenging yourself to fully realize your leadership potential, then this scholarship is for you! If you would like to be considered for this scholarship, please come into guidance this week and sign up for an appointment and a potential nomination. The sign-up sheet will be available until Friday, September 27th and can be found on the counter near the yellow guidance appointment slips.
CROSS COUNTRY
A reminder to the St. Joe's cross country team members that you will be dismissed at 11:00 is tomorrow for your meet at Malden Park. Also, if you want to attend this year's training camp you must let Mr. Strong know by tomorrow.

Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the Model United Nations Debate Team today at lunch in room 155. The lists of countries and topics for committees are in. Come early to choose your country, your topic and your committee. Please bring your lunch and join us in room 155 today. New members are always welcome.
