COURSE CHANGE REQUEST FORMS
A reminder that Wednesday is the LAST day to pick up course change request forms. No exceptions.
NEW YORK TRIP
There will be a very important meeting for all those attending the trip to New York at lunch this Friday in room 257!
30TH ANNIVERSARY SLAM POEM
#STJ30 Cordially invites Laser Nation to participate in our original SLAM POEM to be performed at our Very special St. Joseph's 30th Anniversary Open House! The poem will be created from various alumni submissions. We are looking for a team of passionate poets to help arrange and perform this unique tribute to our school’s outstanding history. The Open House takes place Friday, October 18th, which is a P.D. day, so volunteer hours will be granted for your time! Regular meetings and practices will begin shortly. Please listen to announcements. For initial sign up, see Miss Flynn in the Literacy Office in L.C.C. or Miss McGuire in Rm 206 per. 1 & 2 immediately OR sign up outside their doors. Thank you for sharing your Laser Light; we will not go gentle into that good night!
FALL MUSKOKA WOODS TRIP
Leadership students wishing to apply to attend the Fall Muskoka Woods trip should see the bulletin board by the PE office for information about dates, prices and application process.
BOYS HOCKEY
There will be 2 sign up sheets outside of room 160 for past players and for those first-time players. All first-time players will include players who were selected for the junior tournament last March and did not play for the senior team. We will hold a brief meeting next week for all players.
CROSS COUNTRY
There will be a practice today after school. Meet in front of the Phys. Ed. office ready to run. New runners are welcome, especially grade nines and twelves!
JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL
Attention junior girls basketball players. There’s a brief but important meeting at the beginning of lunch today.
JUNIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Any boy interested in playing junior boys volleyball (grades 9 or 10) should report to the gym immediately after school today for a sign-up and short practice.

Please change into athletic clothing if possible. If you do not have a change of clothes but are interested, please report to the gym anyway.

CHOIR
If you are a singer and would like to join the choir, please come to room 210 at lunch on Wednesday, Sep. 11, to sign up and for information.
CONCERT BAND
If you are an instrumentalist, please sign up for band on the music room door anytime this week. We will have a meeting in the music room on Thursday, Sep. 12, for information and planning. If you need an instrument, please see Mrs. Bisnaire in the Music room, and she will set you up with one.

Hey, Lasers! Our Gay-Straight Alliance club is having their first meeting tomorrow, Wednesday at lunch in the chapel. If you’re looking for a safe place to talk or learn more about the LGBT+ community feel free to stop by. Anyone can join!
WE PROJECT
Are you interested in Social Justice? Do you want to help organize fundraisers for local and global issues? Come check out the WE Project club TODAY at lunch in room 155. Special call out to grade nines!
