GRADS
Grads, the Ontario Universities' Fair is taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from September 27-29.  This is a free event and is a great way for students to chat with university reps, professors, and students.  For more information visit ontariouniversitiesfair.ca or see the flyer in guidance.

 NAVY TOUR BUS
On Wednesday, September 25 the Naval Armed Forces will be at our school with their Tour Bus.  Representatives will be here to answer questions about a variety of programs and opportunities.  Be sure to stop by during lunch to find out if they have anything for you!

REST STOP AMBASSADORS
Students, are you looking to gain more of your required volunteer hours? Rest stop ambassador positions are available for the upcoming Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour coming up on Saturday, September 28th.  Different shifts are available.  Visit the raceroster website for more information and to sign up or visit the volunteer page on the Laser Portal.

 CROSS COUNTRY
There is a mandatory meeting for all members of the cross country team at lunch today in room 205. This includes all member of the team participating in another sport.

GIRLS HOCKEY
Attention all girls interested in trying out for the St. Joe's Girls Hockey team... We will have a short registration meeting at the beginning of lunch on Monday, September 23rd in room 261. We are especially looking for new grade 9 and 10 players. Come be a part of our team. Here we go Lasers!

CHOIR
Attention singers, there is a choir practice today at lunch in room 210. Please be prompt. Thanks!

WE PROJECT
Hey, Lasers! There will be a WE Project meeting today at lunch in room 155! New people always welcome!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
