STRATFORD TRIP
Senior students interested in going to Stratford on Wednesday, May 15 can pick up a permission form in room 208 from Dr. Brode. This year's play is Othello, a tragedy.  
You can submit payment at any time. If you have any questions, please ask Dr. Brode.

PROM 
Attention Grade 12 Lasers: 

The Prom Committee cordially invites you to the Starry Night Prom at the Caboto Club on May 3rd 2019

Tickets will be sold for $70 in the laser box on April 16,17, 23, 24, 25 
In order to buy your tickets, you must have your completed contracts, money and student card. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend St. Joe's, you must have their completed contract and a copy of their photo i.d.

Extra contracts are available in Campus Ministry.

LASER BOTS EASTER BASKET RAFFLE
The Robotics team will be having an Easter Basket Raffle, worth up to $75, to raise money to attend competitions for next year. All you have to do is guess how many jelly beans are in a jar, to guess is $1. You can guess from today, April 16th, until April 18th, during lunch in the atrium. The winner will be announced fourth period on the 18th.

GRAD SWEATSHIRTS
If you ordered a grad sweatshirt, they are available for pickup in the Literacy office located in the LCC at lunch all week. Please pick up ASAP.


VALEDICTORIAN VOTING

Attention graduates- the online voting is now open for your 2019 valedictorian. Please access the grad webpage and click on the "Valedictorian" tab. From there, you will see the google form with attached video previews of each candidate's speech.  You may vote only once, and the form will close at end of day Thursday. 

Senior Boys Soccer

Your Senior Boys Soccer team was victorious in their match against Massey last night, by a score of one-to-zero. Scoring for your Lasers was Mateo Aleksic, and a score defensive game was provided by Ezra Fogal and Jon Minga. The boys' next match is against neighbourhood rival Riverside this Thursday at 4:00 PM here at our school.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
