TRACK AND FIELD
Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the first meet of the season last night at the All-Comers Track and Field meet in LaSalle.  There is no practice tonight-  but there will be a 1:00pm practice on the track tomorrow(yes, Friday) with Laura and Rojae to prepare for our next meet.  Check the GoogleClassroom for any updates.  Please return any track jerseys to Mrs. Mastromattei ASAP.

BOYS BASEBALL
How do you celebrate after Easter break? How about going 3-1 in a baseball tournament?
The coaches would like to congratulate the boys on some great work the last couple of days. They were able to work on some defense and hitting to prepare well for their upcoming games.
Some highlights of the tournament include Prsa going flat out with some fine defensive work in the outfield; Spits starting a late rally and grade 9 rookie Riley McLean capping off the rally with a HUGE 2-run single to clinch the comeback; Brayden Hoare tearing up the base-paths and mashing a grand salami; and quality starting pitching from variety of young arms. If these last two days are a taste of what's to come in the season, it's going to be a great one!

Because of rain-outs, the boys first league game is tonight under the lights at Riverside Baseball Complex versus our rivals, the Brennan Cardinals.  It's PD Day tomorrow folks, come on out and show some love for your Lasers.  Game time is 8:30pm.  Hope to see you there!

God bless!
