AFRICAN DIASPORA YOUTH CONFERENCE
From the African Diaspora Youth Conference, this is a reminder that registration and payment for the African Diaspora Youth conference is now due with Mr. Wilson in room 159.  Payment, permission form and on line registration MUST be completed before Easter.


DRAMA CLUB
This is a reminder that the Laser Drama Club will perform their two plays: "Dreams of Grandeur" and "Plot Twist" on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:30pm in the cafetorium. Admission to the show is $5. All are welcome!!


GRAD INFO FORM
Graduating students are reminded to fill in the information form on the grad website if they have not already done so. This is very important, as the gown order will be going in and heights are required for accuracy in ordering. 


SCHOLARSHIPS
March Scholarships are no longer available however the University of Windsor has extended its deadlines for some of its scholarships into April

Also, the Constable John Atkinson Memorial  Scholarship for students pursuing a career in law and enforcement is still available as well as the Hocktoberfest Legacy Scholarship.

Please consult the Guidance office or the Guidance portal for additional information.


JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER
Any Grade 9 and 10 girls interested in playing junior girls soccer must attend a lunch meeting on Wednesday, April 3 in Room 259.  Please plan to bring your lunch to the meeting.

MATH CONTEST RESULTS
This message is for all of the students who wrote the PASCAL, CAYLEY and FERMAT Math contests this year. The results are in!!! 

Please come see Mr. Nohra, at the beginning of lunch today in room 218 to get your scores! 
SENIOR BOYS SOCCER
Your Senior Boys Soccer return from their tournament play last week as consecutive two-time champions of the Annual Lajeunesse Indoor Tournament. Unfortunately, despite a strong team effort, they could not repeat the same success at the Massey Outdoor Tournament on Friday, being knocked-out by the eventual tournament champions. However, Edward Csiky was selected as a tournament all-star for his strong play. The boys kick-off their regular season next Tuesday against St. Anne's, please come out and support the team.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
