OSAP
Attention Grads.  If you are considering apply for OSAP for the 2019-2020 school year St. Clair College will be hosting an OSAP Application Workshop.  Workshops will run Wednesday, May 1 and Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 PM.  This opportunity is available to ANY student attending College or University in the fall.  If you are interested, please pick up a flyer from guidance.


ST. JOE'S AWARDS PACKAGE
A gentle reminder for our grade 12’s that the St. Joseph’s Catholic High School Awards Application Package for 2019 is due this Thursday April 25th no later than 3:00 p.m. in the Guidance office.
Hard copies only, will be accepted by the due date.

There is an important Track and Field Team meeting today at lunch in the fitness centre.

Batter Up Baked Goods and The Sweet Spot each have an announcements to promote their group for this Thursday's Business Bake Sale taking place in the atrium at lunch.


PROM TICKET SALES
Attention Grade 12 Lasers: 

The Prom Committee cordially invites you to the Starry Night Prom at the Caboto Club on May 3rd 2019

Tickets will be sold for $70 in the laser box on April 16,17, 23, 24, 25 
In order to buy your tickets, you must have your completed contracts, money and student card. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend St. Joe's, you must have their completed contract and a copy of their photo i.d.

Extra contracts are available in Campus Ministry.


BADMINTON NEWS
Congratulations to Eric Winch and Gavin Pawluk for placing 5th at the WECSSAA Tournament last Thursday. The boy's doubles team will be playing at SWOSSAA this Thursday. Please wish them luck.

Practice starts at 7:15 tonight.


SENIOR BOYS SOCCER 
Your Senior Boys' Soccer team laid a crushing victory over our neighborhood rivals Riverside last Thursday, by a score of 4 - to - zero. Scoring for the Lasers were Brandon Mucolari, Mateo Aleksic, Jon Minga, and Milo "Golden Foot" Oglan. A strong defensive effort was lead by Ezra Fogal throughout the game. Also a reminder to the team that there is a mandatory meeting at lunch today in room 153. Please see Mr. Castagna if there are any issues. 


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Students, the Rotary Club of Windsor is looking for student volunteers for Art in the Park June 1-3.  Art in the Park is a great way to collect some community service hours.  Students can sign -up for shifts that work for them, indicate their task preference and request to be partnered with a friend.  If interested, please see guidance for a volunteer application form.
