JUNIOR BOYS SOCCER
Today is the last day to sign-up for junior boys soccer tryouts. The sheet is posted outside of the phys-ed office. First tryouts take place Monday, April 15 after school.
JUNIOR GIRLS SOCCER
Junior Girls Soccer Tryouts are Tuesday April 16 and Thursday April 18.  Please meet after school at 3:00 in gym hallway dressed and prepared to practice outside.  Please remember to bring both running shoes and soccer cleats.
PROM TICKET SALES
Attention Grade 12 Lasers: 

 The Prom Committee cordially invites you to the Starry Night Prom at the Caboto Club on May 3rd 2019

 Tickets for 70 dollars will be sold in the laser box on April 16,17,23,24,25 

 Contracts will be handed at the Grad Assembly on April 9th

DANCE RECITAL
This is another reminder to all Period 4 classes - The dance recital will take place during period 4 on Wednesday, April 17th for a whole-class $2 buy out.  You will get to see award winning dances from the Laser Dance team, as well as dance class performances. Period 4 teachers, please fill out the Google form for this show or e-mail Mrs. D'Alimonte as soon as possible.  Thank you!


BURSARIES
The Siro Martinello Memorial Bursary is now available!
This award will be given to graduating students who are going to St Clair College or the University of Windsor who

• have a financial need
• have demonstrated participation and achievement in school, athletic and/or community activities and shown leadership qualities and/or assistance to others

See Miss Cuderman in guidance for an application!


PROM FREE TICKET WINNERS
Attention 12 Lasers! 

The draw for the two free prom ticket has been done and the prom commitee would like to congratulate Charles Calasanz and Rebecca Jevdic for winning! 

You will be able to claim your free ticket on either one of the selling dates! 

Student ID and signed contracts are still required 


STRATFORD TRIP
Senior students interested in going to Stratford on Wednesday, May 15 can pick up a permission form in room 208 from Dr. Brode. This year's play is Othello, a tragedy.  
You can submit payment at any time. If you have any questions, please ask Dr. Brode.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
