BOYS HOCKEY
This is just a reminder you will be excused from the film festival today at 2:15 for a 3:30 game at South Windsor arena.


DEBATE TEAM
This is a reminder to those students participating in the debate tournament this Friday to get your permission forms from Mr. Sylvestre in ROOM 255. 

There will be a debate practice after school for all members of the debate team. See you there.


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITiES
The Optimist Club of Forest Glade invites you to attend our 2nd annual Breakfast with Santa & Toy Bingo on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00am to 12:30pm. 

This event will be held in the Forest Glade Arena-Auditorium (3205 Forest Glade Dr). Breakfast will be served from 10-11am

To register as a volunteer and more information, contact Barbara at 519-979-6118.

And...as always.... volunteer opportunities are posted on the volunteer board next to Guidance as well as the volunteer hours web page found on the St Joseph's portal


FOUNTAINEBLEAU LIBRARY
Each student will receive 4 volunteer hours for their commitment which includes 30 min set up and 30 min clean up.

Students should arrive at the library by 10:30 am.

POETRY IN VOICE
All students competing in the Poetry in Voice must report to the cafeteria on Wednesday morning before period 1 & before O Canada. The Poetry in Voice Recitation Contest is periods 1 & 2 on Wed. Nov. 28. If you have any questions, speak to Dr. Brode in room 208 in the afternoon.


GIRLS HOCKEY
Please dismiss members of the girls hockey team at 1:40 for their game at Tecumseh Arena against L'Essor. All girls are expected to report to 4th period for attendance and to get work. Thank you.


YOGA CLUB SCHEDULE
Wednesday morning 7:15 yoga in Room 201

FYI: No yoga or meditation next week due to Crêpe Sale Preparations.


CREPE SALE
Salute everyone! French immersion is having the best crepe sale day ever on December 6th during period 3 and 4. All profits raised will be donated to mental health initiatives within our school and the community. Stay tuned to know when to buy tickets. 
After a Week 1 of upsets, this week's matches on Wednesday at lunch will be:

Match 1 - Marko and Friends versus Stokes United

Match 2 - Returning Champs versus Sweetermanz FC

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
