Did you know that the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events.  Funds raised through donations at Christmas kettles, together with other sources of funds, help provide direct, compassionate, hands on services to 1.6 million people each year in Canada. These services include the food bank, homelessness shelter, public dinners, clothing and toys, and more.

Every dollar donated to the Christmas Kettle Campaign will help families and individuals in our community that cannot meet essential daily needs.

The Salvation Army is currently looking for volunteers to be at various kettle donation sites throughout Windsor and Essex County. Students younger than 16 must also be accompanied by a guardian during their shifts.

Shifts are available from November 15 to December 24th, Mondays to Saturdays. Most shifts run from 11am to 2pm or 2-5pm or 5-8pm.

Application forms are still available in guidance. Get yours today and be a part of this exciting opportunity!
