There will be a trivia team practice today at lunch in room 255.  See you there!
MEDITATION CLUB
Are you interested in meditating? If so, every Monday in room 201 Mme. Tomaselli will be allowing students to take the first 20 minutes of lunch to meditate. Meditation has scientifically been proven to help overcome stress, anxiety, depression, anger and confusion. If you’re interested in attending, come to room 201 during lunch on Monday. Encourage your friends to come too! Hope to see you there!
LIFETOUCH
Students who may still require a student card may come to the Windsor Lifetouch Studio on Saturday November 10 between 10:00 am and 11:00 am to have their photo done.

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL
There will be a MANDATORY meeting for anyone interested in playing senior boys basketball this year on Monday, November 5th at the beginning of lunch in room 262. SUPER SANTA RUN NEEDS YOU!
The Essex Region Conservation foundation is calling all local high school students to volunteer for the Super Santa 5km Run/Walk which is happening Saturday November 17 in beautiful downtown Amherstburg. Volunteer shifts run from noon to 5pm or 4pm-7pm.
Further information about this fun event can be found on the volunteer board outside of the guidance office or through the Volunteer Hours website which can be found on the school's portal.


WINTERBALL
Tickets to the St. Joe's Winter Ball will be sold from today until next Thursday, November 8th in the Laser Box during lunch for $40. Contracts will also be available.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
