GIRLS HOCKEY
The girls hockey team got off to a winning start in exhibition season with a 2-1 victory over Tecumseh Vista.
Team captain Camryn Pestru scored both goals, while newcomer Hailey Campbell faced off against her old squad for the first time.
Both Abby Simpson and Madison Francis turned in good efforts in net to preserve the win.
The two teams play again on Wednesday at Tecumseh arena.
TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK DAY
Just a friendly reminder to all Grade 9 Homeroom Teachers and Students:
Take Our Kids To Work Day is on Wednesday, Nov. 14th, 2018
Grade 9 students are to submit parent consent forms to their homeroom teachers by no later than November 12th
Grade 9 Homeroom Teachers are to return the envelope containing the parent consent forms to the attendance office at the beginning of period 1 on November 12th
Students that do not participate in the Take Our Kids to Work day will be expected to attend class on the 14th of November and ready to do work as per the teacher’s instruction
Thank you once again for your continued cooperation and support in this very worthwhile student work experience.
EUROPE MEETING
Bonjour all 2019 Europe Trekkers,
Our next meeting will be Tuesday November 13th and not today Friday November 9th.

WRESTLING TEAM
Attention wrestlers, there is still a practice today after school for those who wish to work out and perfect their techniques. Gabriel will be here to push you and adjust your moves. First tournament is in just two weeks and all mat-time will certainly be a benefit. New wrestlers are still welcome, no experience necessary.
Attention grapplers: you are also welcome to attend today's practice, work out, and drill your own techniques. This is an invitation to those with No-Gi experience only. There will be NO striking. This is an invitation to practice some No-Gi BJJ only.
AFRICAN DIASPORA CLUB
Are you passionate about race-related issues and social injustices? Are you interested in promoting diversity within our school's community? If so, the new African Diaspora club will be having a brief information meeting today at lunch in Room 159! It will only take around 5-10 minutes. Everyone is welcome!

If you purchased a winter ball ticket and you need to pick it up please come to the Laser Box at lunchtime. You will need your ticket to get into the Caboto Club.
