A MESSAGE FROM STUDENT COUNCIL:
As some of you may have already seen, the Christmas Tree is up and decorated. Please be respectful when walking around it. 

 SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB
The Social Justice Club will meet today, at lunch, in Room 257.


BOYS HOCKEY
Attention all players. It is mandatory that each player see Mr Sok's today concerning the Catholic Cup jerseys. This will only take a few minutes of your time,  we need to know what number you wish to put on the back of the jersey. Sorry for the inconvenience but we need them ASAP in order to have them made for the game.

Congratulations to the boys' hockey team who defeated Essex's in our home opener 5-0. Although the score does not reflect how well the boys played it was due to strong goaltending from the opposing team. 

The score could have been into double figures. Rookie goalie for St Joe's, Mr. Zero, Trevor Heslop posted a shutout in his first game as a Laser. The future looks good as a tandem with Brady Kalyn. Goal scorers were, Roof Daddy Mayea with two, a goal from, One Timer Richards, a goal from Back to the Future McFlay and one from Cookie Monster Dimoff. 

Assists on the goals go to Smiley Jacob Prsa with 2, 2 more for Cookie Monster Dimoff, one to Iron Man Anderson, and 1 to Shifty Donelly and Super DiMario Done.

Our next 2 games will be away on Tuesday against Holy Names at the South Windsor Arena and Thursday against L'Essor at Tecumseh Arena. As any sport at St. Joe's we do thank and appreciate fan support. GO LASERS


NEW ORLEANS TRIP
A New Orleans trip meeting has been scheduled for MONDAY at LUNCH in room 203.  New Orleans trippers should bring your lunch to the meeting on Monday at lunch in room 203.

JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
VERY IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR PRACTICE DAYS AND TIMES FOR NEXT WEEK ONLY - PRACTICE WILL BE TUESDAY AT 3PM INSTEAD OF MONDAY AND THE OTHER TWO PRACTICES WILL BE WED 430 PM AND THURS 430. EMAIL MRS UNIS WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
BEST BUDDIES
There will be a brief but mandatory meeting for all Best Buddies at the start of lunch in room 220 on Monday, November 26. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
