CROSS COUNTRY
A reminder that shirt orders and training camp sign-ups are both due today. Please get both of these done at practice today or see Ms. Flynn during the day. 

Congratulations to Nicole LaRue for winning the Senior Girls division of the Raider Open, the first cross country meet of the season. Great work, Nicole! 
The entire team is working hard, training for Thrill on the Hill. Stay tuned for updates!


SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB
There will be a very important meeting TODAY for all members of the Social Justice Club and for anyone who would like to join. We will be meeting in Room 257 at lunch today.

Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the Model UN Debate Team today at lunch in room 155. Are you interested in Social Justice and World Issues ? Then this is the club for you? JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL

TENNIS
Hello tennis fans and players. There will be a mandatory practice this Thursday September 20th at 3:30 PM at Forest Glade courts. Be dressed and ready to come and play as we prepare for our tournament on October 2nd. Check the weather, if its not raining we will be on the courts. see you there!


POETRY
Do you like poetry? 

If your answer is yes, then there is an upcoming event that you should attend. 

October 2 is the annual Poetry at the Manor. 

There will be an evening of poetry and storytelling at Willistead Manor in Windsor on Tues. Oct. 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. St. Joseph's English teacher, Mr. Robillard, will be reading one of his poems along with 5 other poets.
Bring your student ID and you get a FREE poetry book from local authors about Windsor. See you there.


DANCE TEAM
To any student who couldn't make the dance team auditions on Tuesday and would still like to audition, please meet in the drama room immediately after this announcement.  Room 163. Thank you.


LASER NEWS
To all Laser News members, there will be NO meetings this week. There will be a meeting next Monday just for those who are doing social media at lunch in the library.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
