Yes, ALL LASERS, because all Lasers are SINGERS!! Choir practices start today in Room 212 right after school! EVERYONE can sing so if you LIKE to sing, WANT to sing, then please come to Room 212 tonight after school to SING!!! See you there!



MUSKOKA
Attention students interested in attending the Muskoka Trip this fall.  Muskoka Dates are October 8-October 12. Please go to bit.ly/muskokafall2018 to fill out your application. Applications are due on Monday September 17.



TERRY FOX WALK
The Tecumseh Terry Fox Walk/Run is looking for student volunteers this Sunday, September 16 at Green Acres Park in Tecumseh. If interested, please report to the volunteer table at 8:15 a.m. Bring your volunteer sheet to be signed. More information is posted outside the Phys. Ed. Office


CHESS CLUB
Students interested in joining the chess club should meet in room 212 with Mr. Younan at the beginning of lunch, Thursday, September 13, 2018.


FOOTBALL
Anyone in grades 9 or 10 wishing to join the Laser Junior Football team should report to the locker room after school today.  You DO NOT need any experience. That is what coaches are for.  All you need is the courage and dedication to join a program of awesome endurance.  You will gain friendships brought fourth from a shared daily struggle of weather and aggressive contact.  You will have these memories for life.  The coaches look forward to seeing you after school.

LASER NEWS 
There will be a meeting today at lunch in Room 212 for ALL new and current Laser News members. Anyone else who is interested in writing, photography, and social media are welcome to attend. Attendance is mandatory, so please bring your lunch with you.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
