CANADIAN FILM FESTIVAL

Good Morning Canadian Hockey Fans! Wednesday, September 27 will be the chance for all you 
diehard Maple Leaf supporters to have a day dedicated to you. Dress down in Canadian Hockey 
themed attire and/or red and white clothing because this day will be our Canadian Film Festival. 
No formal classes will be taken place. Instead, microwave that popcorn, relax with your friends 
and be prepared for not one! But two different movies!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you still looking for volunteer hours or have an interest in a career with pets and animals?
If so, the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is seeking a group of dedicated high school-age leaders to form this year's Youth Advisory Committee.
Interested students will be required to submit an application form which can be obtained from Miss Cuderman in the Guidance office.
An information session will be hosted this coming  Monday September 25th 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Windsor-Essex Humane Society on Provincial Road..
Further information can also be found on the Volunteer Board found in the main downstairs hallway across form the main office!!!!!!!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Windsor Minor Hockey is looking for students in need of volunteer hours to work the clock and complete game sheets for their novice league.  All games are at the WFCU on Saturdays and Sundays.  Interested students should come to the attendance office to receive further information.

BLOOD DRIVE COMMITTEE

There will be a brief meeting for any student interested in being a member of the Blood Drive Committee today in the Guidance Office at lunch.

ROAD HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Lasers.... come by the phys ed office and sign up your teams for the Canada's 150th birthday road hockey tournament. Teams of 5 or 6 players need to be made and there is a $5 per player fee to support the Terry Fox foundation. If you are interested in playing but cannot find a full team, please see Mrs. Lalonde and arrangements will be made for you. Deadline for regitration is theis THURSDAY so get those teams together for an afternoon of hockey madness!!

TENNIS TEAM

There will be a tennis practice today after school at Forest Glade. That's today after school.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
