BEST BUDDIES

Best Buddies will be conducting interviews in CORE Services, room 151 at lunch on both Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21  for any student interested in joining.

CANADA 150

Good Morning, Lasers! July 1st 2017 marked Canada's 150th Birthday. Together as a
community we will be gathering as a group to celebrate this milestone in our Nation. 

This will not be any ordinary week for St. Joseph's. Starting September 25th each day will be presented with its own theme and super fun activities that go along with it to fill your day with excitement and give you a chance to show off your laser spirit. 

Students and teachers! Suit up those Nikes & search for all that loose change between your couch! Our Terry Fox walk this year will be unforgettable! Pay $5 to participate and all proceeds will go this incredible cause!

CROSS COUNTRY

Cross country practices continue after school today. New runners are still welcome. Please meet in the phys. ed. hallway at 3. If you want to join but don’t have running gear here today, come and sign up in the phys. ed. hall after school.

TENNIS

There will be a brief but very important TENNIS meeting today at lunch for those wishing to join our team this year. We must register for the upcoming tournament. Please join us in Mr. Robillard's room 210 today at lunch for tennis. Be prompt. TENNIS.

LASER NEWS

This is a reminder to all Laser news members--we are meeting in Rm 210 at lunch today. Bring your lunch, as it will take the full lunch period.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
