SHSM HEALTH AND WELLNESS

 Attention all those students registered in the SHSM Health and Wellness program ---- specifically those who have not registered with the Remind App 

 You must register in order to get information that applies to you.

The Windsor-Essex Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers!

 VOLUNTEER HOURS
The Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor-Essex County is looking for tutors.
They are recruiting volunteers with strong literacy and math skills for the 8 week ABC123 Math and Literacy programme. Time commitment is one day a week.

 TENNIS

Attention tennis players there will be a brief but important meeting today to discuss the up coming tournament. It is important for you to be here. See you at lunch in Room 210. 

FOOTBALL

A huge congrats goes out to the junior football team for their 1st victory of the season in a 13-6 battle with St Anne. 

 Brian Tonkin on a 28 yard punt return and Daniel Pahuyo on a 60 yard run provided the touchdowns. And Yazan Aboud added an extra point. 

 Huge shout outs to the entire defense who kept the Saints out of our end zone!! Practice tonight!

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
