JUNIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL

All grade 9 or 10 boys wishing to try out for the Jr Boys Volleyball Team need to attend practice:


Monday Sept. 11: Early          (3 to 4:15 pm) in Gym 3
Tuesday Sept. 12: LATE          (4:15 to 6 pm) in Gym 3


Wednesday Sept. 13: Early               (3 to 4:15 pm) in Gym 3
Thursday Sept. 14: LATE         (4:15 to 6pm) in Gym 3

JUNIOR BOYS FOOTBALL

Any Grade 9 and 10 students interested in trying-out for Junior Football practices will continue to take place after school on the football field from 3:20 PM to 4:45 PM

 each day until Friday, September 15


VOLUNTEER HOURS

Attention Students looking for some community service hours! 

St. Anne's Parish is looking for volunteers as youth leaders for this year's Youth Ministry Programs. 

If you love children & want to help, their 1st Team Training Meeting is being held this Monday, September 11th from 7-9pm at St. Anne's Parish hall.

DANCE TEAM

This is a reminder that anyone interested in being on the St. Joe's Dance Team is asked to meet on the stage Tuesday at lunch.

CONCERT BAND


Do you play a musical instrument?

All students, from gr. 9 to 12, are welcome to sign up for this year's CONCERT BAND.
Come to the music room TODAY at lunch to sign up in room 164 and bring a friend.
Concert band sign-ups are TODAY at lunch in room 164. Everyone is welcome to sign up for CONCERT BAND as long as you already play an instrument.  

Room 164 is in the small hallway near the cafeteria.

SCHOOL NEWSPAPER

This is a reminder to all interested in being a part of the Laser newspaper team this year. We will be meeting at lunch in Room 210 today (Friday) to plan and organize the September launch of the publication. All are welcome!

INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY

It’s time to hit the books and “Read the North” to mark the 50th anniversary of International Literacy Day today.  

To celebrate Canada’s 150, our Little Free Library is featuring titles by exclusively Canadian authors. Come see the display in its new location in the atrium near the LCC.  

The titles are display only until the end of September, but the Little Free Library will reopen for borrowing at the beginning of October with some new titles. 

YOGA

Namaste and welcome back all yogis.

Yoga will begin next week.

Please attend a short meeting in Room 201 at lunch on Monday if you are interested in joining the yoga club.
