CROSS COUNTRY

Cross country practices continue after school today. Please meet in the Phys. Ed. Hallway at 3. Remember to bring your water.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

The Citizens Environment Alliance is looking for volunteers to participate in Open Streets Windsor, Sunday, September 17, 2017. 

The event runs from 10am - 5pm but volunteer hours are flexible, you can participate for as little or as long as you wish.

CANADA 150 WEEK

Good​ ​Morning,​ ​Lasers!​ ​July​ ​1st​ ​2017​ ​marked​ ​Canada's​ ​150th​ ​Birthday.​ ​

Here​ ​at​ ​St. Joseph’s​ ​we​ ​will​ ​be​ ​gathering​ ​as​ ​a​ ​community​ ​to​ ​celebrate​ ​this​ ​remarkable​ ​day.​ ​This​ ​will​ ​not​ ​be any​ ​ordinary​ ​week​ ​for​ ​us​ ​Lasers.​ ​

Starting​ ​September​ ​25th​ ​each​ ​day​ ​will​ ​be​ ​presented​ ​with​ ​its own​ ​theme​ ​and​ ​super​ ​fun​ ​activities​ ​that​ ​go​ ​along​ ​with​ ​it​ ​to​ ​fill​ ​your​ ​day​ ​with​ ​excitement​ ​and​ ​give you​ ​a​ ​chance​ ​to​ ​show​ ​off​ ​your​ ​school​ ​spirit.​ ​

Students​ ​and​ ​Teachers,​ ​make​ ​sure​ ​to​ ​start assembling​ ​your​ ​Canadian​ ​gear!​ ​Especially​ ​you​ ​hockey​ ​fans​ ​out​ ​there;​ ​show​ ​off​ ​your​ ​favourite team​ ​or​ ​dress​ ​up​ ​in​ ​red​ ​and​ ​white.​ ​

DANCE TEAM

For those interested in Dance Team: please return your forms to Miss Donais in the cafeteria duing the first half of lunch today.

CONCERT BAND

It is not too late to sign up for concert band.  

Ms. Bisnaire is especially looking for gr. 9 students who really like to play the flute, clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, baritone or tuba.  

As long as you can play already, you can join this year's concert band.  

See Ms. Bisnaire TODAY in room 164 near the cafeteria.

BEST BUDDIES

Best Buddies will be conducting interviews in CORE Services, room 151 at lunch on both Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21 for any student interested in joining.

Our Canada 150 Talent Show needs your participation.  

If you can sing, dance, play an instrument, or recite poetry please come out and sign up for the Talent Show on the Drama Room door.

YOGA CLUB

Bonjour all students interested in participating in the yoga club this year. 

We will meet on Wednesday at lunch in Room 201very briefly.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

The Science Olympiad meeting for grade 11 and 12 science students will be on Thursday, (Tomorrow)  Sept. 14 in  room 221 at lunch.

LASER NEWSPAPER

All Laser newspaper team members are asked to meet on Thursday in Room 210 at lunch. 

Now that roles have been assigned, we will be discussing format and content of articles. 

This will take the full lunch period, so please bring your lunch!

GOLF TEAM

Mr. Gilbert has a 30 second announcement for the golf team about the meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Rm. 253.
