TRANSFER STUDENTS

 This is a final reminder for those transfer students who wish to play sports. You MUST hand in the completed forms to the phys ed office by Tues. Sept. 12. The forms will be sent to WECSSAA on Wed. If you do not hand them in, you will not be eligible to play.

 STUDENT COUNCIL

 Just a reminder to all Student Council members that we will be meeting today at lunch in room 154.

 TALENT SHOW

 Are you interested in performing in our first Talent Show of the Year?  Come to a brief information meeting at the beginning of lunch in the Drama Room (rm 163) and sign up your act on the Drama Room door.  Don't be shy!  Grade 9s are always welcome!

 GOLF TEAM

 Mr. Gilbert has a 30 second announcement about sign ups for this year’s golf team taking place today at the beginning of lunch in Rm. 253.
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

 The Science Olympiad meeting for grade 11 and 12 science students will be on Thursday, Sept. 14 in room 221 at lunch.
JUNIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL

All grade 9 or 10 boys wishing to try out for the Jr Boys Volleyball Team need to attend practice:

Monday Sept. 11: Early          (3 to 4:15 pm) in Gym 3
Tuesday Sept. 12: LATE          (4:15 to 6 pm) in Gym 3

Wednesday Sept. 13: Early               (3 to 4:15 pm) in Gym 3
Thursday Sept. 14: LATE         (4:15 to 6pm) in Gym 3  

 JUNIOR FOOTBALL

 Any Grade 9 and 10 students interested in trying-out for Junior Football practices will continue to take place after school on the football field from 3:20 to 4:45pmeach day until Friday, Sept 15. If you have any concerns or questions please see Mr. Fuerth in the gym area, or Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
