 Grade 12s:It’s time to start thinking about funding your post-secondary destination.New scholarships this week:

If you are of Romanian descent please see Mrs. Bon-Pickering for an application for the Romanian Community Scholarship.  

Are you of African-Canadian descent?  Mrs Bon-Pickering has an application for the Hour-A-Day Study Club Bursary.

Applications are also still available in Guidance for Siro Martinello, Optimist Club of Forest Glade and Our Lady of the Atonement Bursaries.

Don’t miss out on these opportunities for some much needed financial assistance.

Attention All Students: There is a meeting for the WE PROJECT/St. Vincent DePaul Youth Society today at lunch in room 155. 

 Please bring your lunch and join us.

MULTI CULTURAL DAY
If you would like to do a booth area and share your culture please see Ms. Touma in room 155 after school to get the forms and sign up. 

All forms must be into Ms. Touma by Wednesday May 17, 2017

BLOOD DRIVE

The Dress Down Day for the Blood Drive will be Tuesday, May 23. 

Please check the list posted outside of the attendance office to be sure you are eligible to dress down. 

If your name does not appear on the list but you think it should, please see Mrs. Geiger or Mrs. Bon-Pickering in Guidance.

SAC CHARITY GARAGE SALE

This Saturday May 20th Student Council will be having a charity garage sale from 7-11am.  All proceeds will go to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. 

We are seeking donated items to sell at this garage sale.  

If you have any clothing, kids toys, knick knacks, books, or other items you'd like to donate for this worthy cause, please bring them into campus ministry no later than Friday May 19th.

LASER LIP SYNC

The Business Leadership class has a 1:45 second commercial to promote auditions for our upcoming Laser Lip Sync. 

Auditions will be taking place this Wednesday and Thursday at lunch in Rm. 253.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
