STUDENT COUNCIL

 All members of Student Council running for an Executive Position you must see Mrs. Spadotto in room 154 before the end of the day today with the position you will be running for. Reminder all forms are due this Tuesday.

 PRAISE TEAM
Attention all members of the Praise Team and any students who are interested in being a part of the music relating to the upcoming, end of year mass.

There is a rehearsal scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th, at lunch, in the chapel.
Any of students interested in performing a solo are asked to come on Wednesday and let Mrs. Dietrich know.

We only have 2 short weeks to prepare for this mass, so attending rehearsals is of utmost importance!

If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Cabana in CORE services, room 151.

STUDENT WRITERS

Any Grade 9, 10 or 11 student interested in becoming a writer for the NEW St. Joe's newspaper next year, please stop by Room 254 and sign up using the sheet posted on the door. We are looking to put together a core team of writers at this point, and we will be looking for submissions at various points through next school year. Stay tuned!
SAC CHARITY GARAGE SALE

This Saturday May 20th Student Council will be having a charity garage sale from 7-11am. All proceeds will go to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. 

We are seeking donated items to sell at this garage sale.

If you have any clothing, kids toys, knick knacks, books, or other items you'd like to donate for this worthy cause, please bring them into campus ministry no later than Friday May 19th.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
