Auditions for the Spring Concert are now complete and those chosen have a meeting today at lunch in the music room.

CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY

Have you ever considered an exciting career in the Construction Industry?

Would you like to begin an apprenticeship while still attending High School?

Do you like to work with your hands or build projects?

The Construction Academy is an opportunity for you to do all of these things!

Any current grade 10 students who are interested in signing up for the Construction Academy are asked to go to the Guidance office to pick up an application. 

If you would like to know more about the Academy, please make an appointment with your guidance counsellor or talk to Mr. McAiney in room 169.

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER

Your Senior Boys' Soccer team won in convincing fashion last night defeating Leamington by a score of "two-nill" with goals by Doug Rosete and Mateo Aleksic; while Haiden Gelinas kept a clean-sheet. 

The team now travels to the mean streets of Kingsville to battle the Cavaliers of Kingsville on Tuesday, May 16 at 3:30 PM - should be epic!

 LASER LIP SYNC

 The Business Leadership class has a 1:41 second commercial to promote auditions for this year’s Lip Sync. 

 Auditions will take place at lunch in Rm. 253 next Wednesday, May 17 and Thursday May 18.  

 Sign up today on the door to Rm. 253 for your chance to win $100 per show.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
