SENIOR BOYS SOCCER

Laser Nation the Senior Boys' Soccer team is calling you to support their playoff run towards a "Double A" crowning. 

 Today, under the cold, grey skies the boys play their quarter final match at 3:30 PM on our campus against the Lions of Leamington. 

 With that, staff please dismiss the members of the team at 2:40 PM. If there are any concerns please see Mr. Castagna.

MULTI CULTURAL DAY
Attention All Students: Friday May 19, 2017 is Multicultural Day. 

 If you would like to do a booth area and share your culture please see Ms. Touma in room 155 after school to get the forms and sign up. 

FOOTBALL

Any student interested in playing football next school year, junior or senior, are asked to attend a short sign-up meeting in room 210 on Monday, May 15 at the beginning of lunch. 

 If you have any concerns please see Mr. Fuerth in the Phys. Ed. office or Mr. Castagna in CORE Services.

 LASER LIP SYNC

The Business Leadership class has a 45 second commercial to promote auditions for the upcoming Laser Lip Sync.  

 Auditions will be taking place at lunch in Rm. 253 next Wednesday and Thursday.

 CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY
Have you ever considered an exciting career in the Construction Industry?

Would you like to begin an apprenticeship while still attending High School?

Do you like to work with your hands or build projects?

The Construction Academy is an opportunity for you to do all of these things!

Any current grade 10 students who are interested in signing up for the Construction Academy are asked to go to the Guidance office to pick up an application. 

 If you would like to know more about the Academy, please make an appointment with your guidance counsellor or talk to Mr. McAiney in room 169.

LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS CAN DRIVE DRESSDOWN Attention lasers! The STJustice Club would like to thank you for your outstanding participation and generosity in this year’s AM800 can drive, bringing the win with the most donations in all of Windsor-Essex. As promised, there will be a full dress down this Wednesday, January 18th.   DANCE TEAM A reminder to the dance team that we have a morning practice TOMORROW Jan 17th. WRESTLING TEAM The Laser Wrestling Team travelled to Sarnia to compete last Saturday. Bringing home Gold medals were Jaclyn Lacoboni and Daniel Piccolo, Silver medals were Joy Uchenna and David Ferro, and a Bronze medal was Evan Fransen. Anthony Mailloux took fourth place. Everyone fought well and fought hard. Despite his injury, Max Thibault demonstrated great composure and class, and showed everyone the fierce spirit of our school. If you see any of our wrestlers in the hallway, congratulate them and perhaps come out to support them at the next tournament this Saturday

 LASER NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS QUEBEC TRIP Everyone who is going on the Quebec Trip, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 203.  NEW YORK TRIP There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending the New York trip tomorrow at lunch in room 261. Please bring your fundraiser order forms and money.  DRAMA SWAG  St. Joes Drama Community. Today is the last day to submit your money for this round of Drama t-shirt and hoodie orders. Please have your money in to the main office by the end of lunch today and make sure your order has been placed on our Google Classroom. Orders will go in today and are expected to arrive within a week.
